Non-Muslim soldiers behind killings, kidnapping in north – Sheik Gunmi reveals (Video) 

Controversial Islamic cleric, Sheik Ahmed Gunmi has indicted soldiers in the ongoing unrest in northern Nigeria.

According to Gumi, the non-Muslim soldiers were doing all these to make the country ungovernable.

The Islamic cleric stated this on Friday during meeting with bandits in Niger State.

He addressed the heavily armed soldiers in Hausa language and transcribed by IDOMA VOICE.

He said, “Soldiers are behind all this and as you all know, we have Muslim and non-Muslim soldiers and it’s this non-Muslim soldiers that are behind the killings and whenever you come for revenge, you enter town and start killing children, old, men, women and even infants.

“We are putting more efforts to make sure government grants you amnesty because if you are to be asked now of what you are doing, you don’t have anything to present, no work, no hospital.

“In order for the government to grant you this amnesty, you have to stop the killings because we all know soldiers are behind everything by trying to stop the good work you are doing.

“We will make sure the soldiers and police will not have to arrest you if government finally gives you amnesty, which is our main aim of being in this place.

“It’s not too late for some of you to go back to school and learn how to read and interpret the Quran and how to use your phones so that if you are in the forest you can be able to communicate to us whenever anyone tries to disturb you.

“We came here today to help you and also to help ourselves because if we leave you people like this, we are not doing any good and if you know anyone killing, try to stop the person even if it’s the soldiers. stop them.”
