Adoka/Ugboju: Hon. Adam Okloho hosts party faithful, presents 3 years scorecard
Hon. Okloho makes a dent on history as he cemented his pathway to Federal House of Representatives via his fulfilment of the social contracts he entered with his people. Never in the history of Idoma politics has a member of the Benue State Assembly executed much projects in less than four years as done by Hon. John Adam Okloho.
As political activities build up towards the 2019 general election, one of the fore most contender for Ohimini/Otukpo Federal Constituency, who is also the incumbent member representing the good people of Adoka/Ugboju State Constituency has appealed to APC party members to remain steadfast and keep faith with the party at all levels.
He stated this during a parley he organized to intimate party members on some of his laudable projects as a member in the Benue State House of Assembly in the past three years
While addressing party members that thronged to Ambassador’s Resort, venue of the briefing, Hon. Okloho attributed his achievements so far in office as the results of good counsels he often receive from Amb. Dickson Akoh, his party leader who is widely adjudged by many as a development agent.
He listed some of the projects he has been able to execute since he got elected in 2015 to cut across, construction of rural roads, payment of educational grants to Indigenous students from Adoka/Ugboju constituency, rural electrification projects in some communities in the area, reconstruction of Area Court in Ogoli-Ugboju, empowerment of rural dwellers, skills acquisition training/provision of equipments and take off funds to trainees. Details of the over 25 projects executed are contained in the pamphlet he distributed at the venue.
The projects which were carefully selected spread across not just his immediate constituency but Otukpo local government area as a whole.
Speaking further, Hon. Okloho made passionate appeal to party members from the two local government of Otukpo and Ohimini present to consider him Worthy to represent them at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, as he promised to give the constituency purposeful representation if elected.
In his contributions Amb. Dickson Akoh eulogized Hon. Okloho for the quality representation he brought to his constituents adding that, if given a chance at the green chamber he would do more for the upliftment of his Constituency. Amb. Akoh however added that, the gathering was not meant for Hon. Okloho’s declaration but purely for him to show case his score card in office.
Highlight of the occasion was the receiving in to APC fold representatives of over five hundred youths that renounce their membership of their former party (PDP), by Otukpo local government chairman of the APC Hon. Okwungege. Hon.
Okloho equally used the opportunity to introduce to party members his newly constituted campaign team.
Dignitaries at the occasion includes, party excos from both Ohimini and Otukpo local government area, others are councillors from the two local government, Dan Ekah and others too numerous to mention
