Adum begins inspection of BIPC facilities

The Group Managing Director, Benue Investment and Property Company limited, Barr. Alex Adum, has began inspection tour of BIPC facilities within Makurdi metropolis.

Barr Adum who visited the BIPC Tourism and Hospitality in North Bank charged staff of the Guest House to emulate sacrifice made by founding fathers for the overall benefit of the state.

Barr. Adum after an interaction with the management of the Guest House ordered the rehabilitation of critical structures such as the gynm center, borehole, the swimming pool and the reconnection of the electricity to 33 KVA source of power to ensure steady light at the guest house.

Addressing Journalists after the inspection, the GMD decries the level of rot in the guest house and charged the management to improve processes that will facilitate profit maximization at the Guest House

Barr. ADUM also lamented the level in which the guest house is over staffed and ordered the immediate redeployment of a contract staff back to Kaduna. “I have never seen where a 25 rooms hotel have over 18 supervisors who are permanent staff with 25 ad-hoc staff. The MD stated.

Responding on behalf of the staff, Chief Operating Officer of the Company, Mrs. Joyce Agu, pledged staff support to the new MD to enable him carry out the necessary reforms that would transform the guest House

Mrs. Agu assured that staff of the guest house will redouble their efforts to ensure that they met the target.
