After moving motion for her release, Susan Okpe wants Blessing Onuh as Benue governor
Susan Okpe, the alleged Benue State coronavirus index case has opined that Blessing Onuh deserves to be the governor of the food basket state.
Exactly 51 days ago, Mrs. Okpe was captured and taken to the isolation centre after she was said to have tested positive for coronavirus.
Irked over the development, the House of Representatives has called on the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) through the Federal Ministry of Health, to critically evaluate the case, asking that she be urgently released to go home.
The resolutions followed the adoption of a motion on matters of urgent public importance brought by Rep. Blessing Onyeche Onuh, from Benue.’
Reacting to the development, an elated Prince Agbo lauded the lawmaker for the bold step.
He wrote on his Facebook wall, “God bless Blessing Onuh, if possible, we would have added Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo to your constituency.”
Responding, Susan said, “We shall give her, plus the state.”
