Alia gives Oddy Woods, Spitz Igomu, ⁠Fidelis Adasu, others appointments

The Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has approved the establishment of a Made-in-Nigeria program office in Benue State. The office will serve as the State’s structured platform to translate the Made in Nigeria agenda into bankable projects, measurable jobs and industrial expansion, aligned with the Benue State Development Plan 2025 – 2034.

The Program Office which will be coordinated by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government with technical support from the Benue Investment Promotion Agency and the Bureau for International Cooperation and Development, is responsible for the coordination of the State level implementation of the Made in Nigeria agenda, packaging and promotion of agro-industrial and manufacturing investments, supporting SMEs to meet quality and market standards; among other responsibilities.

Consequently, His Excellency has approved the appointment of the following people as the coordinating team of the program office in the State:
1. Orduen Ikon (Oddy Woods)- State Cordinator
2. ⁠Michael Ogwuche- Member
3. ⁠Barr Ori Onum- Member
4. ⁠Bennet Abul- Member
5. ⁠Michael Shenge- Member
6. ⁠Dr. Terese Akpen- Member
7. ⁠Fidelis Adasu- Member
8. ⁠Joseph Spitz Igomu- Member
9. ⁠Jamal Mshelia- Member
