Baba Tee breaks silence on alleged affair with Lande’s wife

Comic Nollywood actor Baba Tee has challenged content creator Ijoba Lande to provide evidence supporting his claims of an alleged affair between Baba Tee and Lande’s wife.

This comes after Lande accused Baba Tee and 20 other entertainers of being involved with his wife before their separation in January 2025.

In a video shared on Instagram, Lande claimed that his wife, Dara, left him after he discovered her supposed infidelity. He also criticized his manager, Mary Gold—who is a close friend of his wife—for introducing her to Baba Tee despite knowing he was married.

Mary Gold, however, alleged that Baba Tee only got involved with Lande’s wife after she insulted him by questioning his virility.

Responding via a video interview on Instagram, Baba Tee denied the allegations and demanded proof from Lande.

“I have never met or spoken to Lande’s wife in my life. I didn’t even know what she looked like until mid-2024 when Mary Gold contacted me for an MC job since I’m also a stand-up comedian.

Mary Gold later came to my estate to discuss the launch of her movie, bringing along a stranger. When I asked why she brought someone I didn’t know to my house, she introduced her as a content creator and up-and-coming artiste.

I overheard them talking, and Mary Gold said, ‘It seems Baba Tee is already aware.’ I interrupted and asked, ‘Aware of what?’ It took a while before she admitted that the woman was Lande’s wife. I then asked, ‘Why didn’t you introduce her as Lande’s wife from the start?’

Suddenly, I saw Lande calling me out on Instagram and insulting me. I was shocked because I have only met Lande once in my life.

Lande, I challenge you—show proof to the world that I slept with your wife,” Baba Tee stated.
