Balarabe: El-Rufai’s replacement as minister collapses during screening

A Ministerial nominee, Abbas Balarabe from Kaduna State, on Wednesday, collapsed while explaining his profile at the Senate.

He was the second to be screened for confirmation, but fainted shortly after he took turns to be screened by lawmakers

Immediately, he fainted, the Sergeant-At-Arms ordered journalists out of the Chambers.

Senator Ishaku Abbo representing Adamawa North personally rushed him to the National Assembly Clinic to seek for medical attention.

Balarabe was nominated after DSS reported forced the senate to drop Nasir el-rufai.
