Benue 2023: Ex-APC spokesman reveals 23 persons who may contest for governor
Ahead of the 2023 governorship election in Benue State, Apeh Peter, former Director of Publicity, All Progressives Congress, Benue State chapter, has revealed 23 persons from the three senatorial districts of the state who may be eyeing the number one seat.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Ortom is expected to hand over the baton of leadership in May 2023 to the next governor of the state.
Our reporter observed that since the creation of Benue State in 1976, no Idoma has governed the state.
However, there is a loud agitation in Benue South, otherwise known as Zone C that the governorship ticket should be zoned to the area in 2023.
So far, five Idoma natives have indicated interest in the governorship seast.
In this list, Apeh reveals 23 persons who may want to contest for Benue governor in 2023.
