I still recall with fond memories those booming days for The Alternative newspaper. We would print up to 5000 copies and exhaust them and even go for more reprints.
The vendors would come begging for the plates to go do their reprints.

That is the level of hope and patriotism, the opposition members do have in this project petition to recover stolen mandate at the courts. And it is the only way the politician keeps his members still faithful to him. To do otherwise, you are tagged a sellout; you have collected billions from the winner and sold the mandate they claim they gave you.

Don’t blame Emmanuel Jime. It is an opposition ritual he must perform to remain relevant in politics around here.
It is not an offence, neither is it a sin. It is allowed under our democracy. The Constitution allows for it. But I wish we are able to explore other more brotherly options too. Because, this one usually cost a fortune, both ways.
And this is very sad!
