Benue PDP crisis: Abba Moro calls for unity to unseat Alia, others in 2027
Comrade Abba Moro, PhD, the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, attended the maiden State Caucus meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State on Monday, 11th November, 2024, held in Makurdi.
During his address, Senator Moro commended the leadership of the State Executive Committee (EXCO) under the guidance of Rt. Hon. Ezekiel Adaji.
He urged the EXCO members, from the ward to the state level, to remain focused, acknowledging their leadership qualities and merit in their positions.
The senator expressed his admiration for the State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Ezekiel Adaji, and the entire EXCO for their leadership efforts, which he believes are vital to the success of the party.
Moro also highlighted the critical role of women in elections, emphasizing their ability to influence voter turnout. He specifically praised the Women Leader, Hon. Mrs. Alice Albert, for her commitment to engaging women and ensuring their active participation in the political process.
Moro urged party members to remain united and work together toward securing PDP’s victory in future elections.
He emphasized the importance of collective effort and solidarity in strengthening the party’s position moving forward.
