Benue PDP primaries: Ojema defeats Melvin Ejeh to win PDP ticket for Apa/Agatu
Pst. Comr Ojema Ojotu has emerged as the PDP House of Reps candidate, Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency for the forthcoming 2023 National Assembly election.
He defeated his closest rival, Hon James Melvin Ejeh with 2 votes margin.
The immediate past Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and State Chairman, Joint Public Service Negotiation I, II, and III scored 27 votes while Hon Melvin got 25 votes.
He was tipped as the best aspirant that could wrestle power from the incumbent, Hon Godday Samuel Odagboyi of APC until today’s primaries.
The ordained Pastor with Presto church Makurdi is described as a grassroot mobilizer, a youth-friendly dude, an unpretentious personality with an unprecedented leadership capacity.
His victory does not come to anyone as a surprise.
