4. No fewer than 10,000 members of the All Progressives Congress and other political parties have joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Benue State. They were received into the umbrella party by the state governor, Samuel Ortom and other PDP leaders at Tse-Agberagba in Konshisha Local Government Area.
5. Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has given assurances that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP will reclaim the leadership of Nigeria in the 2023 general elections. He also maintained that the party will still retain Benue winning all elective positions.

Former Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs and All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship aspirant in Benue State, Dr. Sam Ode has said his pedigree, political experience and qualification stands him out as the aspirant to beat in the contest for the ticket of his party.
