Published

on

Born on the 21st of June 1965 to the family of Chief Emmanuel Omaji Ogbole, in Adoka, Otukpo local government Area of Benue State.

In 1971, Paul Harris was already doing far better in academic activities above his peers. That alone gave him a special recognition in St. Theresa’s Primary school, Zaria. His quiet nature wasn’t helping out as he was constantly been harass and intimidated by older pupils.

At the age of 10, he was taken to a private school, Fatima Private School, Jos. At that young age, he began to represent his school in competitions where he earned them several awards.

Despite the fact that he was been moved from one place to the other, he still came out with the best result from Govt Secondary School, Dekina where he wrote his (GCE) O’Level.

Against all the odds, Paul Harris proceeded to University of Jos ( faculty of law) and obtained his Bachelor of Law (LL. B) (HONS) where he still came out with the best result.

He obtained his Barrister of Law from (BL) from Nigeria law school, Lagos.

With so much positive records as the Head of Litigation with Deji Sasegbon & Co (SAN), he immediately earned himself a position of a Deputy Editor with the DSC Publications Ltd.

1989 he became the legal Advisor of the
Mobile Telecommunication Service Limited (A joint venture of digital communications Ltd. Atlanta, USA and Nigeria Telecommunication Plc)

1992 Digital Communication Ltd gave him another offer as the Company Secretary/Executive Assistant to the Managing Director:

1995 he was made Company Secretary/Legal Advisor: Osam Associates Nig. Ltd. (An Affiliate of MTS)

1995 Principal/Managing Partner:
Suswam, Ogbole & Co., Attorneys at Law (GENERATION CHAMBERS).

It was at this point that he was made the Chairman, Caretakers Committee, Otukpo. During his tenure, Education and Health systems were given utmost priorities.

As the then Vice Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Benue State Chapter. He fought and stood for transparency and accountability while they were in office.

To so many people, the transparent leadership qualities of this one time governorship aspirant was the reason that earned him the Hon. commissioner/board member, economic and financial crimes commission. While some believed it was his hardworks that did.

When so many controversial issues began to crop in with the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, he was pushed to the Board and ever since then records are been put in order.

It is our hope and prayers that your humility, gentility, transparent nature and hardworks take you to your expected end as you mark your birthday.

As a determined legal practitioner, you’ll surely taste the peak of your carrier and we shall gather here again to celebrate you as the next Idoma son to be crown a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

Happy birthday to a quiet achiever.

Happy birthday to a man with the humility of a lamb and the authority of a lion.
