Blasphemy: Mr Macaroni blasts Atiku for deleting posts condemning Deborah’s murder

Ace comedian and skit maker, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has slammed former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar for pulling down his posts condemning the murder of Deborah Samuel.

Deborah was killed and her body set ablaze by Muslim students for insulting their Holy Prophet Mohammed.

The student of Shehu Shagari College of Education was said to have challenged her colleagues for posting religious things on the department’s WhatsApp group chat.

Atiku had in a tweet frowned at the murder, saying there is no justification for the dastardly act.

However, some of his Muslim brothers attacked him for his tweet and threatened not to vote for him in 2023.

This forced Atiku to pull down the tweet.

This, however, did not go down well with many Nigerians, especially Christians.

Adding his voice, Macaroni said it is obvious people like Atiku don’t care for people.
According to him, they only play to the gallery seeking when seeking votes.

He tweeted, “Atiku deleting the tweet condemning the gruesome murder of Deborah shows what we have been preaching this whole election season.
Politicians don’t care for the people. They only play to the gallery when seeking our votes. The people must see beyond these gimmicks…”
