BREAKING: Itabono to produce Ogbadibo Chairman as PDP says zoning arrangement should be respected at caucus meeting
Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State have agreed that zoning formula must be respected ahead of the local government council election.
The state chairman of the party, Sir John Ngbede made this declaration on Saturday during the party’s caucus meeting held in Makurdi.
He said zoning formula, which has existed in the party hitherto should be respected.
With this, Itabono Ward 1 in Owukpa would produce the next chairman as the zoning arrangement favours the ward.
He said, “The party will conduct a free ,fair ,credible and transparent party primaries for the forthcoming council polls.
“The party will adhere to the zoning formula adopted by stakeholders at the local government level.
“That party members should desist from anti party activities or face disciplinary action.
“Enjoined members to remain supportive of the party.”
