1. The Indigenous People Of Biafra – IPOB has been dissolved and struck off as a registered company in the United Kingdom, ENigeria Newspaper reports. IPOB is a nationalist separatist organization in Nigeria that, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, a British citizen, has as its goal the restoration of the Republic of Biafra.

2. The Les Blues of France on Wednesday beat the Atlas Lions of Morocco to book a place in the final of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The Frenchmen scored twice to end African dream of reaching the final for the first time. With the result, France will now square up against Argentina in the final.

3. A convicted fraudster, Oghenemine Agbroko, has forfeited the sum of N120,284,986.28 found in the Keystone bank account to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI. Justice Efe Ikponmwonba of Edo State High Court ordered the forfeiture on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. The judge ordered the forfeiture of the money to the Federal government of Nigeria through the EFCC for onward delivery to the nominal complainant, the FBI.

4. The Director, Media and Publicity, All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, has said presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was not rushed off the stage due to health concerns at his rally in Minna, the Niger State capital. According to Onanuga, the crowd that turned up to welcome Tinubu at the rally was so massive that the former governor of Lagos State had to address them briefly.

5. The NKST Church has disassociated itself from the way the suspended Catholic Priest, Hyacinth Alia turned its National Choir conference to a political rally. Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Benue State.6. Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground, four years on from leaving the club after an iconic stint at the Spanish giants, Daily Mail reports. The Portuguese star trained alone at the facility, according to Spanish outlet Relevo, as he looks to keep himself in shape as he searches for a new club following his country’s World Cup exit.

7. Nigeria’s House of Representatives has approved the report of the Committee on Tertiary Education and Services on a bill for an act to upgrade the College of Education, Katsina-Ala to Federal University of Education.
The latest ruling on the bill sponsored by Hon. Richard Gbande, member representing Katsina-Ala, Ukum and Logo federal constituency of Benue state, was read out during Thursday’s plenary.

8. Ifunaya Delilah, a young female lawyer who was called to Bar recently has reportedly been suspended by the Nigerian Bar Association over misconduct. Although the Nigerian Bar Association has not yet responded to the ENigeria Newspaper’s inquiry regarding its widely publicized action against Ifunaya Delilah, recent investigations by the newspaper revealed that she was called to bar barely about a year ago and had since gained notoriety online posting images of herself in a wig and gown along with other semi-naked pictures.

9. President Muhammadu Buhari says Nigeria’s size and population are contributory factors in many challenges facing the country, but in many areas, his administration is trying. The Nigerian leader equally said youths are Nigeria’s promise for a better future and solving their problems is the priority of his government.

10. Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has said he has nothing against the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Wike said though he lost the PDP presidential ticket to Atiku, he has no ax to grind with the former Vice President.
