BREAKING: Over 15 Israelis injured as Iran missile hits Beersheba buildings

Nineteen people were injured on Monday afternoon when an Iranian ballistic missile struck the Beersheba area in southern Israel. All victims were taken to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, including one in moderate condition and 18 with light injuries.

Local authorities reported that search and rescue operations are ongoing to locate any additional casualties amid the destruction caused by the missile, which reportedly damaged several homes.

Earlier Monday, sirens blared across Israel as the third day of Operation Roaring Lion began, though no hits were confirmed during the initial alerts, according to Magen David Adom.

The day also saw Hezbollah launch multiple projectiles toward Israel, prompting Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) counterstrikes in southern Lebanon and Beirut.

The IDF has noted a change in Iranian missile activity over the past three days, with larger and more coordinated barrages, ranging from nine to 30 missiles per wave. Officials say this pattern mirrors the organized strikes seen during the June 2025 Twelve-Day War.

Anti-missile batteries were deployed across Israel, including Tel Aviv, to intercept incoming missiles.

Following Hezbollah’s entry into the conflict, Israeli authorities are also monitoring the potential involvement of the Houthis alongside the group.
