BREAKING: SGF Akume has not resigned – Benue APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has debunked rumors suggesting that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Dr. George Akume, CON, has resigned from office.
In a statement issued Friday night, the APC State Publicity Secretary, Dan-Morgan Ihomun, responded to growing concerns fueled by widespread calls and messages about the SGF’s status.
“I have received several calls and messages regarding the status of Sen. Dr. George Akume, CON, Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Let me state clearly that the SGF has not resigned,” Ihomun affirmed.
He further assured the public that Senator Akume remains fully committed to his duties and continues to serve the nation diligently.
The party urged Nigerians to disregard the false reports and treat them as mere fabrications.
