Tinubu finally agrees to pick Muslim as running mate

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has settled to run a Muslim-Musilm ticket.

This is just as the Asiwaju of Lagos has agreed to pick a Muslim as his running mate.

This was made known on Friday evening by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.

Ganduje, who made this known during Eid-El Kabir celebration in Kano, said they advised Tinubu to go for a northern Muslim as his deputy and he has agreed.
His words, “We have advised him [Tinubu] to pick a Muslim deputy, and he has agreed.

“A Muslim-Muslim ticket is a reality. It’s not something new in Nigeria.”
