BREAKING: Wike-backed faction expels Makinde, Bala Mohammed, others from PDP

A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has announced the expulsion of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, alongside Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, and Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal.

The development follows a violent clash between two opposing factions of the party at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, on Tuesday.

In the sweeping action, the Wike-backed faction also dissolved the party’s executive structures in Oyo, Bauchi, Ekiti, Zamfara, Edo, and Lagos States, signaling a deepening crisis within the opposition party.
