Lightning, they say never strikes twice, but Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has broken this jinx.

The ‘light’ of Aguata first struck on May 29, 2004 when he was first appointed the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

He’s on the verge of making history to earn the title of a governor twice as he’s an inch away from becoming the next governor of Anambra State.

Soludo, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress  at the ongoing governorship election in Anambra.

First, he was a governor without a state, now he’s going to be a governor with a state (21 local government areas under his control).

Who says Lightning never strikes twice, ask 61-year-old Soludo.
