Alonso unveils Chelsea’s 27-man squad for pre-season tour

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has named a 27-man squad for the club’s 2026 pre-season tour of Australia and Asia.

The Blues are set to depart London for Sydney on Friday to begin preparations for the new season.

Chelsea will open the tour against A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers at Accor Stadium on Tuesday, July 28, before facing Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the same venue on Saturday, August 1.

The west London club will then travel to Hong Kong for a clash with Serie A giants Juventus on Wednesday, August 5.

Chelsea’s next stop will be Jakarta, Indonesia, where they will take on AC Milan at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium on Saturday, August 8.

The pre-season tour will conclude in Malaysia, with the Blues facing Johor Darul Ta’zim at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Sunday, August 9.

Goalkeepers: Filip Jorgensen, Robert Sanchez, Ted Curd, Teddy Sharman-Lowe.

Defenders: Josh Acheampong, Tosin Adarabioyo, Aaron Anselmino, Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Jorrel Hato, Marco Palestra, Mamadou Sarr, Tayo Subuloye.

Midfielders: Landon Emenalo, Dario Essugo, Omari Kellyman, Romeo Lavia, Madhi Nicoll-Jazuli, Reggie Walsh, Reggie Watson.

Forwards: Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Dastan Satpayev, Estevao Willian.
