Chelsea confirm Saul Niguez exit

Chelsea have confirmed Saul will return to Atletico Madrid after his one-year loan deal with the Blues expires.

It means Chelsea won’t exercise the buyout option in Saul Niguez’s loan contract.

Chelsea have wished the Spaniard well for his future, thanking him for his contribution during his one-year loan spell.

The 27-year-old failed to establish himself as a regular at the Bridge this season. He made 23 appearances for the Blues across all competitions, scoring a goal and providing an assist.
