Confusion in Oyo over burial of Alafin

There is currently confusion as to whether the late Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III has been buried or not.

Report had it earlier that the monarch had been laid to rest in the ancient city of Ibadan.
However, a new development is that the monarch has not been buried.

A palace source, who is a prince and a member of Adeyemi family, explained that the monarch has not been buried even though Christian and Islamic clerics have offered their prayers.

He added that the monarch would be buried at night around 9:pm at Bara, though it may take some hours.
