Court frees 9 Benue protesters as others remain in custody

Nine individuals arrested during a recent protest against ongoing killings in Benue State have been released by the court.

However, several others arrested during the same protests remain in custody, with no official update on their legal status or court proceedings.

Relatives and supporters gathered outside the court to celebrate the release of the nine, but many expressed concern and frustration over the continued detention of others.
