COZA: ‘I’m disappointed’ – Pastor Giwa speaks on Fatoyinbo rape scandal
Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Gospel Church, Pastor Giwa has advised church leaders across the world to do according to their teachings.
Several allegations have emerged against the founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo recently, with the latest coming from a former staff of the church.
The lady who hid her identity and her face narrating her story, said the incident happened in 2017 at the pastor’s house.
Giwa, in a statement on Saturday, expressed disappointment over unethical behavior of some Ministers of God.
“As Ministers of God, we should live by example. We are to the custodians of our part of God’s house.
“We are to keep the temple of God’s dwelling place clean because God is holy.
“It is better you don’t know Christ than to know Christ and continue in sin.
“If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, according to Hebrews 10:26.
“Everyone has a past; the moment you realize your sin and beg God for forgiveness, He forgives you and you do not need to go back to sin again.
“You cannot stand in the pulpit preaching and, as well do something contrary. You cannot claim to accept Jesus in your life and still continue in sin.
“In Deuteronomy 22:10, we are instructed to refrain from yoking and ox and a donkey. They will want to go in different directions and at different speeds.
“The job description for the Spirit filled believers is to keep His temple, our bodies clean. When the temple is cluttered with unholy attitudes and actions, His presence dimishes and vanishes.
“If we could just grasp the significance of a Holy God dwelling within us it would revolutionize our lives. Remember, God will not live in a dirty house,” Giwa stated.
