Deborah’s murder: This is why many people want Nigerian to break up – Deji Adeyanju

Social activist, Deji Adeyanju has strongly frowned at the murder of Deborah Samuel, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto.

Deborah, IDOMA VOICE reports was killed and her body set on fire for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed in the school WhatsApp group chat.

The deceased was said to have chided her mates for posting religious things on the platform, which was not created for such purposes.

Her statement angered some male Muslim students of the school who went after her, lynched her and set her body on fire.

Reacting, Deji said what the students did was the reason many people want Nigeria to break up.

He Tweeted, “What happened in Sokoto today is the reason some people say we don’t belong together. That they want to go their separate ways. Completely disgusted that some human beings are defending this kind of satanic act.”
