The Federal Government has officially announced a public holiday on Wednesday, September 27th, in observance of this year’s Eid-ul-Maulud celebration. The declaration was made by Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister, in Abuja, according to a statement by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Oluwatoyin Akinlade.
The Minister extended congratulations to Muslims around the world, both within the country and abroad, for marking this year’s occasion.
