Enone 2027: Labour Party screens, clears Rep Philip Agbese
The Labour Party in Ado Local Government Area has congratulated the member representing Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Philip Agbese, following his successful screening and clearance ahead of the party’s primary election.
In a statement issued by the party’s publicity secretary in Ado LGA, Comrade Destiny Okpali, the party described Agbese’s clearance by the Labour Party Screening Committee as a reflection of his commitment to democratic ideals and quality representation.
The screening committee was led by the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Nenadi Usman, ahead of the party primaries scheduled for May 30, 2026.
The statement, issued on behalf of the Ado LGA Labour Party Chairman, Hon. Owobi Josiah, praised Agbese’s contributions to the growth and development of Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
According to the party, his representation at the House of Representatives has continued to inspire confidence among party members and residents across the constituency.
The party leadership also prayed for wisdom, strength and victory for the lawmaker as he prepares for the primaries and the 2027 electoral process.
