Rodri, a pivotal figure in City’s recent successes, sustained a suspected knee injury and was forced to leave the pitch at half-time during Spain’s Euro 2024 final win over England.
The 28-year-old has been absent from training sessions since his return to Manchester after a lengthy summer break, raising concerns among City fans about his fitness.
Guardiola addressed the situation, stating, “He didn’t train. I didn’t see him yet. I think he feels good, but we will see when he starts to move his body how he feels. But no chance [for Chelsea].”
