Globacom seeks global partnerships to boost tech growth
Globacom, Nigeria’s leading telecom company, sponsored the Nigerian-French Technology Roundtable on Friday at the Mike Adenuga Centre, Lagos.
The event, organized by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy in collaboration with the French Embassy in Nigeria, focused on fostering innovation and global partnerships ahead of the VivaTech Conference 2025 in Paris.
Key discussions centered on positioning Nigerian tech startups for global opportunities and attracting venture capital.
Minister Bosun Tijani highlighted VivaTech as a platform to showcase Nigeria’s tech potential, while French Consul General Laurent Favier praised Nigerian startups for securing significant global funding rounds.
Globacom, represented by Bella Disu, reiterated its commitment to empowering tech startups and driving Nigeria’s digital economy through strategic investments and partnerships.
