Gunmen claim three lives in Edo community

Gunmen took the lives of three individuals in Edo State, including a vigilant community member. Another person suffered injuries during the incident, which unfolded in Ekiadolor community within Ovia North-East Local Government Area.

Jude Aikhionbare, the deceased vigilante member, was ambushed by gunmen as he returned from his night patrol near the market square in Ekiadolor. The other two victims were identified as Felix Ighodaro and Aza Mani, both minibus drivers in the locality.

SP Chidi Nwabuzor, the spokesperson for the state’s police command, confirmed the tragic event.
