The identities of suspects who looted a private residence in Ai-Famu Owukpa in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue have emerged.

IDOMA VOICE learnt that the boys were identified as Godswill and Samuel.

This newspaper had reported that the young boys masked themselves and broke into the house of Supol Jerome Ameh and carted away with his valuables, including flat screen television, home theatre, rolls wire and other things. The house is located at Ai-Owo in the community.

Their luck, however, ran out as they were arrested after looting the house.

It was gathered that during interrogation; the duo confessed committing the crime but begged for forgiveness.

However, a source told this newspaper that Godswill, otherwise known as Gunshot, from Ai-Osina, is not a first-time offender as he had earlier this year broke into a house one Mama Titi and stole church’s offering kept in her custody.

The second suspect, Samuel, has also been arrested attempted rape and other crimes.

The DPO of Orokam Division, while addressing the suspect on Saturday, warned parents to always watch their children and wards.

“These teenagers are not first-timer offenders. It is sad that boys of this age are already deep in criminal activities. This shows that parents and guardians need to look after their children and wards.

“Any child arrested would be charged to court and jailed. We cannot continue to habour criminals among us,” he warned.
