The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially commenced the 2025 recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

According to a statement released by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), the online application portal opened on Sunday, July 14, 2025, and will remain active for three weeks.

Applicants are advised to visit the recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to apply. The board emphasized that the application is completely free, warning Nigerians to beware of fraudsters posing as agents.

Interested candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth, between the ages of 18 and 35, and must meet the specified physical and educational qualifications. For male applicants, a minimum height of 1.65 metres and expanded chest of 0.87 metres is required, while female applicants must be at least 1.60 metres tall.

The recruitment covers three major entry cadres: Assistant Cadre (for SSCE holders), Inspectorate Cadre (for ND/NCE holders), and Superintendent Cadre (for HND/BSc holders). Applicants are permitted to apply for only one agency and one cadre to avoid disqualification.

The process includes registration, document uploads, screening, and aptitude tests, followed by physical verification. Required documents include birth certificate or age declaration, certificate of state of origin, academic qualifications, medical report, and a recent passport photograph.

The CDCFIB has assured that shortlisted candidates will be notified in due course for the next stages of the recruitment.
