‘I like guys’ – Michelle Alozie reacts to lesbian sexuality allegation
Super Falcons star, Michelle Alozie stirred up conversation when she posted a photo featuring herself alongside another woman, playfully calling her “my husband.”
In the image, the lady is embracing Alozie from behind.
Accompanying the picture, the Nigerian footballer captioned it: “Happy us over them day,” and humorously added, “to my husband.”
The photo quickly circulated, sparking speculation about Alozie’s sexuality among Nigerians.
Alozie has since clarified the situation, explaining that it was the other lady’s birthday, and she was merely celebrating her.
In a subsequent post, Alozie stated: “I like guys. lol. relax.”
She further added, “I promise you there are more pressing matters to discuss in the world than my sexuality.”
Following her standout performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, the defender has gained a significant following among male admirers.
