I wanted to sleep with Bobrisky before finding out he’s a man – Portable

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed that he once attempted to pursue a romantic relationship with crossdresser Idris Okunneye, better known as Bobrisky, without knowing his true gender.
In a recent interview with Echo Room, the singer admitted that he slid into Bobrisky’s direct messages with the intention of initiating a romantic affair, believing at the time that the social media personality was a woman.
Portable, known for his unfiltered commentary, explained that he only backed out after discovering Bobrisky is a man. According to him, this revelation prompted him to withdraw from the encounter.
“Bobrisky is my friend, but we had issues because I advised him to become a better person,” Portable said. “I told him to stop portraying himself as a woman because it goes against God’s will.”
He continued, “I actually wanted to toast Bobrisky and sleep with him, not knowing he’s not a woman.”
The singer, who has developed a reputation for making controversial statements, also appealed for forgiveness, stating, “If I offended Bobrisky, he should forgive me. I always speak the truth.”
Portable’s comments have sparked fresh discussions online, especially regarding gender identity and public perception in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
