“I was cheated on” – Juma Jux’s ex speaks out after his wedding to Priscilla Ojo

Karen Bujulu, the ex-girlfriend of Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, has addressed lingering public interest in their past relationship following the singer’s recent wedding to Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo.

IDOMA VOICE reported that Juma and Priscilla tied the knot in a grand cross-country celebration held in both Nigeria and Tanzania, with wedding photos and congratulatory messages flooding social media.

In the wake of renewed online attention, Bujulu took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to set the record straight. She clarified that contrary to speculation, she did not cheat during her relationship with Jux—instead, she was the one who was betrayed.

“I didn’t cheat. I was the one who got cheated on. I stayed too long, forgave until I couldn’t anymore… and then I left,” she wrote.

Bujulu noted that she has kept silent for a long time despite ongoing criticism and the misinterpretation of her social media posts, many of which are wrongly linked to her ex.

“I didn’t speak because I didn’t see the need to explain myself online, but somehow, everything I post still gets turned into something about him,” she added.

Making her position clear, Bujulu emphasized that she has fully healed and moved on from the relationship.

“Let me be clear: I’ve moved on. I’ve healed. I promise you, I don’t want anything or anyone back.”
