‘I wish i had done fraud’ – Nollywood star Aremu Afolayan

Nollywood star Aremu Afolayan has voiced his regret over not participating in internet fraud, commonly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo,’ in Nigeria.
In a now-viral Instagram post, Afolayan lamented that legitimate business endeavors in Nigeria seem futile in the current climate.
Speaking in pidgin English, the actor expressed his regret: “All of the days wey dem dey talk about yahoo yahoo, na today I regret pass say I no do am. Legitimate hustling never felt super useless #aremuafolayan.”
This post follows the recent sharp increase in NNPCL’s fuel price from N617 to N897, reflecting the ongoing economic struggles in Nigeria.
