(IDOMA VOICE ONLINE POLL) Benue South Senate 2019: Who would you vote for right now – Moro, Onoja or Lawani?

Published

on

By this time next, the people of Benue South would storm polling units across the nine local governments in the senatorial district to elect who will represent them at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly (Senate).

Already, sixteen persons have indicated interest to succeed the outgoing senator, David Mark, who has been occupying the seat since 1999.

Among the sixteen contenders, political observers have narrowed down the race to three persons.

The three main contenders in the race are: Comrade Abba Patrick Abba Moro of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Steve Lawani of the All Progressives Congress and Chief Mike Onoja of the Social Democratic Party.

The trio had all served at various capacities in previous governments.

While Moro served as Local Government Chairman in Okpokwu before his appointment as Minister of Interior by the Jonathan government, few years later, Lawani was the Deputy Governor of Benue State for eight years, while Onoja was the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Defence.

Today, IDOMA VOICE presents the three main contenders jostling to take over the baton of leadership from Senator David Mark.

Given the self-confidence exuded by the contenders and reechoed by their followers, IDOMA VOICE would want to know…

Who would you vote for right now – Moro, Lawani or Onoja?

The result of this online poll would be announced on Sunday, February 17, by 8pm would be announced.
