The Senator representing the good people of Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, sympathizes with the Catholic Diocese of Otukpo over the death of Very Rev Fr Innocent Eje.
Rev Fr Ejeh, ordained in 1974 as the first Idoma Catholic priest, died on Monday in Otukpo, Benue State.
Senator Moro describes the demise of Rev Fr. Eje as painful, not only to the Catholic Church but to Idoma community and Benue State at large
The Senator believes the late clergy was a humble and dedicated servant of the Lord, who spent his time on earth serving humanity.
Senator Moro salutes the contributions of the late priest to the growth of the Catholic Church in Idoma land and his tireless efforts in promoting peace, love and unity in all his engagements while alive.
He prays that the Almighty God will grant the priest eternal rest and comfort all members of the Catholic church and his family.
