Justice Ugo: Charly Boy reacts to ‘resignation’ of PEPT member over pressure to rule in favour of Tinubu

Charly Boy, popularly known as Area Fada 1, has taken to Twitter to react to the alleged ‘resignation’ of Justice Ugo from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) panel. According to Charly Boy’s tweet, Justice Ugo reportedly resigned, citing pressure to compromise Nigeria’s democracy and rule in favor of Bola Tinubu.

The tweet reads: “Justice Ugo Resigns, Citing Demands to ‘Kneecap’ Democracy, Says ‘Siding with Tinubu’ Would Mean ‘The Death of Nigeria’s Democracy. Tribunal/Supreme court judges, better be carefulooooo. Aswear with everything I hold precious. If una do anyhow, una go see anyhow.”

Charly Boy’s tweet expresseed concern over the alleged resignation and highlights the importance of upholding democracy in Nigeria.

He warned tribunal and Supreme Court judges to be cautious in their decisions and implies that any actions perceived as compromising justice may face consequences.
