The National Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has extended an invitation to Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State, urging him and his NNPP members to join the APC for the advancement of the state’s political landscape. Ganduje made this declaration during a Thursday address to the party’s stakeholders in Kano.

According to Ganduje, “I am appealing to Governor Yusuf, along with his members from the NNPP, to defect to the ruling APC at the national level to ensure massive political growth of the state.”

He emphasized the need for political unity and growth, encouraging defections to the ruling APC at the national level. Ganduje assured potential defectors of a conducive environment and pledged the party’s commitment to fostering overall political development in both the state and the nation.

Ganduje stated, “We are also working very hard to ensure more members of the National Assembly from Kano State and others from other political parties join hands with the progressives as doors of the party remain open for all.”

He disclosed ongoing efforts to attract more members from the National Assembly in Kano and from other political parties, affirming the party’s open-door policy. Ganduje expressed confidence that various governors and National Assembly members from different political backgrounds would soon align with the APC.

Ganduje said, “We will provide an enabling environment for all defectors for the overall political growth of our party and state.”

Regarding the Supreme Court’s judgment on the Kano governorship, Ganduje conveyed the party’s acceptance of the verdict and commended President Bola Tinubu for his unwavering support. He outlined plans to create a robust platform for unity within the party, welcoming new members and fostering collaboration for the benefit of Kano State.

Ganduje further stated, “I want to assure the good people of Kano State that the federal government will continue to initiate policies and programmes that will enhance the well-being of the people.”
