Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi has named Coach Mohammed Ganaru as the Interim Head Coach until the end of the current Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The club’s Chairman, Dr. Philip Nongu, announced the appointment in a statement issued by the Media Director, Emmanuel Uja, citing the resignation of Technical Adviser and former international, Daniel Amokachi, as well as the team’s current league standing.

Dr. Nongu urged fans to remain committed and continue supporting the club. “Everything we do is for the good of our beloved club. While we welcome criticism, it should be constructive and aimed at improving our performance. With God, nothing is impossible,” he stated.

Expressing confidence in Ganaru, who has previously managed Lobi Stars, Dr. Nongu assured that the management would provide the necessary support to help the club maintain its NPFL status.

In a separate development, the Lobi Stars Board has restructured the club’s management, with Dr. Philip Nongu continuing as Chairman and Coach Mohammed Ganaru assuming his role as Head Coach.
