Man Utd star, Pogba set to re-join Juventus

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Labile Pogba is set to re join Juventus, with his contract expiring at the end of the month.

The 29-year-old rejoined Manchester United from Juventus in 2016, but he now looks set to return to Italy and link up with his former club.

Pogba’s return to Manchester United hasn’t been as successful as they had hoped. He fell out with Jose Mourinho at one stage, and regular injuries have stopped him fulfilling his potential.

The 2018 World Cup winner last featured for United in April’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool.

According to Foot Mercato, the France international has agreed to sign a four-year contract with the Turin club, the second time he departs Manchester on a free to join the Italian giants.

The midfielder is expected to receive around £130,000-a-week when he re-signs for the Turin based club – a significant pay cut from the £290,000 he reportedly earns at Manchester United.

According to various reports, Pogba met with Manchester City’s coach, Pep Guardiola, over a possible switch to the Cityzens.

Man City’s businessmen offered Pogba a contract that would have seen him become one of the top earners at the club, behind Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland but he turned it down.
