Manor Solomon agrees terms with Fulham
Following a FIFA judgement on players with Ukrainian addresses, Manor Solomon has agreed to sign with Fulham through the end of the 2022/2023 campaign.
According to the judgement, players living in Ukraine who are not Ukrainian citizens may suspend their agreement with their club.
The 22-year-old scored four goals in 16 Russian domestic league games for Shakhtar Donetsk the season before the competition was cancelled due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Fulham has announced that they would apply for an international transfer certificate on August 1 because players who have terminated contracts with their Ukrainian clubs are unable to register before that date due to another FIFA regulation.
As THEWILL reported previously, Shakhtar filed a claim with FIFA for €50 million (£43 million) in damages for missed transfer fees, especially with their player exodus following FIFA’s judgement.
