1. Nigerian singer, Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland have just lost their child, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The 3-year-old died on October 31, 2022.

According to resorts, Ifeanyi got drowned few days after his third birthday which was celebrated on October 20, 2022.

2. Commercial transport drivers in Lagos, otherwise known as Danfo drivers, on Monday shut down operations over alleged extortion.

“Drivers and commuters have had a brimful of extortion and harassment from the motor park management and caretaker committee thugs popularly known as Agbero. It is also visible to the blind in Lagos that the cost of goods and services is a consequence of agbero’s extortion, no goods can be delivered, and 95 per cent of working-class residents can be transported without the service of commercial drivers,” said the Joint Drivers Welfare Association of Nigeria, in a statement issued to signal a seven-day strike which commenced on Monday morning.

3. Former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has said that the Arabic inscription in the naira notes would not be removed from the redesigned currency.

Sanusi claimed that his successor, Godwin Emefiele, assured him the Arabic inscription would not be removed from the redesigned notes.

6. Nigerian currency, naira has crashed in the parallel market, hitting an all time highest of 815 per US dollar.

FFK, as the former Minister is fondly called, alleged that Atiku is a sodomite and as such, God will never hand over Nigeria to him.

8. No fewer than 13 persons were burnt to death on Sunday night in an accident involving a Toyota bus and a trailer at 4-Corners Junction, near Enugu metropolis, Enugu State.

The victims were burnt beyond recognition as the bus conveying them from Imo to Adamawa State, had a head-on collision with a trailer and exploded immediately.

9. Ayo Adebanjo, a leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, has accused Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of bribing some members of the group to cause division within, ahead of the 2023 general election.

Adebanjo, who made the allegation while speaking on Sunday with Peoples Gazette, said he’s not ready to engage Mr Tinubu, whom he accused of inducing a few members of Afenifere to curry favour in his preparation for the polls.

10. IDOMA VOICE reports that the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has distanced himself from his purported manifesto making the rounds online.

A manifesto believed to be Obi’s has made its way into the public space, with criticisms welcoming it.

However, Obi it was a draft of the manifesto and the certified copy would be released in due course.
