  1. President Bola Tinubu has authorized a series of appointments and reappointments within the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

    The Presidency announced the selection of Chairpersons and Chief Executive Officers for various agencies under the Ministry on Thursday.

  2. Residents of Adijah in the Ugbokpo area of Apa Local Government Area, Benue State have fled their homes, fleeing in panic as Fulani herdsmen launched a violent attack on the community.

    Eyewitnesses report that the attackers descended on the village on Thursday afternoon, unleashing gunfire on unsuspecting residents.

  3. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) is reportedly contemplating relocating some of its units to Lagos, following recent controversial moves such as the relocation of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and departments of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the city.

    NUPRC made this revelation in a memo dated February 14, signed by Kelechi Ofoegbu, the Executive Commissioner for Economic Regulation and Strategic Planning.
