Naira plummets to 1080/Dollar as Pounds reach 1300 in parallel market
On Thursday, the Nigerian Naira experienced a sharp decline in value against the US Dollar at the parallel market in Lagos.
The Naira depreciated by N40 compared to its previous exchange rate of N1040, settling at N1080 to the Dollar.
Meanwhile, the Pound Sterling and the Euro were traded at N1280 and N1130, respectively.
This further depreciation reflects the ongoing challenges in Nigeria’s foreign exchange market.
