Nathaniel Bassey, Mercy Chinwo, Moses Bliss make top 20 most-streamed Nigerian acts

A new list of the top 20 most-streamed Nigerian artists on YouTube Music for the first quarter of 2025 has surfaced, with some notable gospel musicians making impressive appearances alongside mainstream stars.

It was gathered that Debut Hub, Afrobeats sensation Rema leads the chart with a staggering 223 million views between January and March 2025. Burna Boy follows with 171 million views, while Ayra Starr ranks third with 169 million.

Eternal chart rivals Davido and Wizkid secured the fourth and fifth spots with 113 million and 102 million views, respectively.

Gospel artists also made a significant impact: Nathaniel Bassey garnered 52.8 million views, Mercy Chinwo recorded 46.4 million, and Moses Bliss pulled in 41.5 million views, showing that faith-based music continues to draw a massive global audience.
