Nigerian striker, Boniface agrees to join German club, Bayer Leverkusen
Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen is on the cusp of securing a significant addition to their squad, as advanced talks with Union Saint-Gilloise for Nigerian striker Victor Boniface are well underway. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the ongoing negotiations, revealing that personal terms between the player and Leverkusen have already been agreed upon.
The potential deal, worth over €20 million, is a testament to Leverkusen’s ambition to strengthen their attacking force with the talented 22-year-old forward. Boniface’s impressive goal-scoring prowess was evident in the last season, where he found the back of the net 17 times in all competitions for Union Saint-Gilloise.
Of the 17 goals, nine were netted in 37 appearances in the highly competitive Belgian Jupiler Pro League. Leverkusen is keen on adding Boniface’s goal-scoring abilities to their arsenal, and the negotiations are progressing favorably towards finalizing the deal.
